The Floral Pavilion Theatre - 'Keeping the Dream Alive' looks to the future and bows out with a superb programme of shows with Doddy taking the final curtain call on the 1st April (or maybe the 2nd...).
Wirral Bird Club gathers on the 4th Thursday of each month in Kingsmead Hall, Bertram Drive, Hoylake, at 8 pm.

Generally speaking, the main Festival season is between May and September, usually because most of our Festivals take place outdoors and we hope for good weather. No laughing please, but as you will know we don't have a climate; we just have weather! If you would like to stage an event, apart from the weather a major consideration is when to stage it. One of the other difficulties is dividing your potential audience when there are a number of events happening at the same time - doesn't always happen, doesn't always matter, but it is possible.
If particular timing of your event matters to you then this page is here to help by giving the dates of some major (and sometimes not-so-major, but important) annual events in the Wirral cultural calendar. As you will appreciate this is not a definitive list of events happening in Wirral but these are ones that could, potentially, attract significant numbers of people away from your event.
Although we are being particularly self-centred on this website we can't work in isolation so other events in other areas may also influence what you wish to do and your timing. If timing is important and as dates vary from year to year, it will be worth checking with particular event organisers for specific dates in future years.
