It's quite remarkable the range of things that go on in Wirral and, probably even more remarkable, the range of places they go on in!! From the more traditional theatre spaces such as The Gladstone Theatre, Little Theatre, Floral and Pacific Road Arts Centre events and activities are held in public halls, parks, libraries, pubs, clubs, trams and buses and ferry boats. Ranging from promenade theatre on Hilbre Island, outdoor Shakespeare with the Hillbark Players in Royden Park, Pro-Beach Soccer, Tall Ships, street entertainment,

orienteering, concerts in Hamilton Square we've used a lot of different venues. Wirral is known for innovation and is forward looking so imaginative use of venues is nothing new for us. What we haven’t had so far is detailed information brought together about the various venues and areas that can be used, what it can be used for, limitations and whom you would have to contact to set the ball rolling.

As you will expect this is a section that will take time to develop so this is not a 'quick fix'. We will also have points that will link you to existing information that may be obtainable elsewhere. Over time this page will develop into an information point regarding the range of potential venues in Wirral for indoor and outdoor activities both general and specialist.
